rid of EVERYTHING. Reimport all the songs to Sonicstage again and try
to sync the NWA unit.

Hi, You need to install Sonic Stage software in computer that can be downloaded from Sony Support site as per OS running in PC then connect walkman with computer and transfer mp3 files in it, Sonic Stage will create that database files automatically to solve the issue. Using an external card reader, back up the data on the card and then reformat the card. Then put the card back into the player. Hopefully this should solve your problem.

DO YOU GO TO YOUR COMPUTER ICON ON YOUR COMPUTER AND THEN PLUG IN YOUR SANDISK SANSA AND THEN DRAG YOUR SONGS TO IT BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT I DID AND IT WORKED
guys u need to keep one thing in mind while connecting players to pc.. make sure ur pc is free from virus.. its a must... its because of virus that can even ruin entirely ur players... do a update from the sony site to solve all the problems..
The Database error is generally because the device does not have enough free space to create the database ( or GUI ).
Delete some songs off the device and that should solve it.
You should generally keep 6MB free for every 2 gigs of music.
