My gilera seems to have voltage drop and cause my engine to cut off when i press my brake.

Clean plugs new fuel new battery. If you change one thing at a time you will know the problem. Lasts seasons fuel is the biggest culprit then it clogs up the plugs and delivers. Just dump the fuel.

hi, does it just cut out ?, if so there is one fault that can cause that, worth checking, try pressing the lever in the upwards or downwards direction while going along, if it doesn't cut out , the throttle pot needs replacing ... it's worth also checking the battery and controller connections making sure they are a good fit and tight...

Other causes:

Battery voltage dropping too low...
Brake breaking down..

coil lead plug cap needs replacing , no shield to protect spark plug from getting wet due to weather/water splash. electrical spray lubricant requires from damp start problem

could be either switch at fault, start by pulling the wire connectors off the rear switch to see if the light extinguishes, if so its the rear switch, if not its the front.

u are better off replacing the whole engine bec in my exsperince u will spend around £200 pound fixing that u could pick up a another gilera runner engine for £150-£200 from ebay etc

The voltage drops because the brake lights are lighting. It is common when idling or engine rpm is low

you went through the electric. system, now check fuel supply filter, tank, valve carb bowl for dirt

fuel starvation you need to clean the carbs bud

Carb needs cleaned and possibly rebuilt.
