You can pay for items on eBay using PayPal, credit cards, or debit cards. Other ways to pay include gift cards, coupons, eBay Bucks, and more. Before you bid or buy, check the listing to see which payment methods the seller accepts.
Once you've won an auction-style listing or bought an item at a fixed-price using Buy It Now, you can pay for your order.
When you check out and pay, make sure to verify or change your shipping details. If your PayPal account is linked with your eBay account, you'll just confirm and pay. If it's not linked or if you don't have a PayPal account, you can select another payment method, such as a credit or debit card. You'll then confirm your order details and pay through PayPal guest checkout.
You'll get an email letting you know your payment was received and when your item will be shipped.
To speed things up in checkout, you can:

  • Save your payment details
  • Pay with PayPal every time

How much i should pay for an ebay item that i purchased?

Find out how much you need to pay for your item:
  • In the listing
  • In My eBay
  • In the confirmation email sent by eBay
  • In the invoice sent by the seller
After you win an item, use the Pay Now button to pay your seller. Once you win an item, the Pay Now button appears:
  • in the listing
  • in My eBay
  • in your confirmation email
When you click the Pay Now button, your payment details will usually be automatically calculated for you. These details will match the shipping and handling, tax, and multiplepurchase discounts in the listing below the item description.

If the payment details aren’t available, or the totals don’t seem accurate, here's what to do:
  1. Reviewthe item description and any emails you've received from the seller. Ifthe seller specified shipping costs in the item description or sent youshipping costs by email, you can manually enter this information on theReview Your Purchase page after you click the Pay Now button.
  2. If you still don't have the information you need, click the Request total from sellerlink next to the seller's user ID. After you request the total, theseller can send you a new invoice that includes the correct paymentinformation.
  3. When the seller sends your invoice, click the Pay Now button in the invoice to see your updated total.

I have a suspended ebay account. I paid 18.19 that was due on Nov. 17th. I thought that was the problem. It remains suspended and I have no idea why? Ca you assist me?

Hi there!

With regard to the suspension in your account, if it's about billing it could be that your account's being charged off.
A charge off means eBay has recognized your balance as debt to eBay for accounting purposes. Keep in mind that you still owe this amount to eBay. Additionally, eBay reserve the right to pursue collections efforts, including use of a collection agency.

To avoid further collections efforts and to remove the suspension,I recommend that you need to pay for the fees. eBay will reinstate your account as soon as eBay receive payment for this amount.
Here's what to do:
-- Check your invoice
To see the overdue balance and a breakdown of the fees you've been charged, follow these steps:
1. Go to My eBay. You may be asked to sign in.
2. Click the "Account" tab.
3. Click the "All account activity" link under your current balance.
You'll see a summary of your latest invoice and a list of fees, credits and payments from the last 4 months. To see a previous invoice, select the one you want from the "Invoices" drop-down menu on the right side of the page.
-- Make a payment
eBay accept payment by PayPal, direct debit, credit card, check, or money order.
Here's how to make a one-time payment:
1. Go to My eBay. You may need to sign in.
2. Click the "Account" tab.
3. Under "Payment methods for Seller Fees," click the "one-time payment" link.
4. Follow the instructions to complete your payment.
How long will it take for your payment to go through?
-- One-time credit card and direct debit payments post immediately to your account.
-- PayPal payments take approximately 5 business days to post.
-- Checks take approximately 7-10 business days to post.
To learn more about paying your eBay seller fees, go to:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/pay-fees.html
Once your payment has been posted, your account will be reinstated automatically, and you'll be able to start selling on eBay again immediately.
I hope I've explained this clearly. If you have any problems please add a note here or you can send another concern.

I hope this helps. Please rate if it does!

Be diplomatic, accurate and understanding in byer seller communications, as buyer feedback can damage your ability to sell.
Always pay extra for USPS tracking if you sell something, it is how the Ebay system proves seller compliance. Take your time on the item listing page, notice and try to understand every click box, including auction duration and shipping options, decimal places, quantities etc.. Learn the listing page thoroughly, as mistakes and oversights can cause real financial pain. With practice, eBay can be practical, profitable and fun.
Ebay has the most refined search system around with category, area, price range or item name searches, both current running auctions or finished auctions. Use quotes around item names for exact results, such as "vintage bean slicer". Do your homework and research and communicate promptly. Make sure email messages are authentic by accessing whatever links are offered by typing in your address bar. Clicking on email links can be very dangerous.I have never opened any email attatchment. Ebay and paypal never ask for your user information, they already know it. Tryh to keep a healthy balance in your Paypal account for sufficient problem coverage.

Hi! it says New activity not applied to invoice: C $1.95 Current Balance: C $27.55 what is this invoice thing that i have to pay? and the buyer did not pay his payment for 6 days, do i still have to pay...

With regard to this, if the buyer didn't pay, file the unpaid item dispute. Once you close the case, you will get a final value fee credit and it will be deducted to the charges in your account.

The New activity not applied to invoice are for the listings that you have which are not included in your billing cycle when the invoice was generated. You can check your account summary page, and scroll to the right, you will see the box there to check your invoice. Choose the month of the invoice and click go. Choose the most recent one (ie April). It will show you the amount that you will need to pay for that billiny cycle (ie March 15-April16) This includes the items that you listed during those times.

Hope this helps. Have a great night!
