GE Side By Side not cooling on refridgerator side.

Freezer side seems to be working...at least at the moment I can't see anything melting. But the refridgerator side things are warm and not cooling. The ice maker is still allowing ice to flow from door.

There is no ice on the back panel inside the freezer but water is starting to drip from the ice drawer down the door. I think the freezer is out to. The lights are on when I open the doors.

Look on the back panel inside the freezer for ice beginning to show. Most times when this happens the fresh food section is the first to notice. Your refrigerator has a control board on the back. If not defrosting the air flow to the fresh food section is greatly reduced. Let me know, Sea Breeze

OK, Then we need to pull the refrigerator away from the wall remove the cover over the back of compressor and unplug. Touch the top of the compressor and see if too hot to touch. If yes the we need to check the start relay, start capacitor and the external overload all there near and inside the cover on the compressor. If too hot to touch I recommend that you not plug the refrigerator back in until we find the problem. I will be here to help you and if someone has an OHM meter that would help. Let me know, Thanks for the rate, Sea Breeze

While unplugged I want you also to remove the cover over an opening on the back of the refrigerator and inspect both sides of the mother board for burn marks or signs of heat. Let me know what you find. Sea Breeze

GE Profile Artica Side by Side Refridgerator isn't cooling.

You say fan seems to be working? it either is or it is not working. If you are getting a reduced airflow in the cabinet, it may indicate that the evaporator coil is iced up and needs to be manually defrosted.

Maytag Refridgerator and not cooling or freezing

sounds as if perhaps the overload replay has burnt up on the compressor, you can see it by removing the back cover, unplug unit and remove the starter from the side of compressor. if burnt up or melted youll need to replace it.. before you do i would call the manufacture with model and serial theyve experienced issue with some of these depending on model and serail they may cover repair

GSS22KGMC WW side-by-side refridgerator not cold anymore

I have no idea to this day, what caused the complete lack of cooling in my freezer and refridgerator. However, it seems to be working fine now. All I did was turn the compressor and fan totally off, let it rest for a few minutes, and then turn it back on. It seems to have "re-booted the system, and now everything is working normally. The ice-maker is once again making ice! It has been three days or so now, and so far, so good!
