Go to the waring site, and look up the nearest dealer for repair and bring it to them. They should be able to contact waring for you and get you a replacement.

I had the same problem, so I contacted their customer service at (866) 832-4843.
I was informed they don't replace that part anymore.

Sorry!

SOURCE: toastmaster 287 thermostat

I had the same problem a few weeks ago where the Ready light came on and stayed on. After opening it up I realized the little disc is a thermostat. After some Internet searches I found out who the manufacturer was and emailed a sales guy there. They didn't sell retail, but he recommended www.selcoproducts.com. It took some more research to figure out which kind I needed because there are a lot.

Choose there Thermal Products link, then Disc Thermostats, 1/2" Disc - Automatic Reset. You'll want the Open On Rise type. There are all kinds of different temperatures and I had a real hard time finding what temperature to buy. I found a patent that said 166 Celcius (about 300 F) so I got that type from the 1/2" Disc - OA Series link. It isn't as high a temperature as the old one so I run it for 2 cycles of the Ready light and it worked perfect. You may want to try their higher temperature ones under the 1/2 Disc CR/OR Series - High Temperature - Polyester, or Ceramic if you want to try higher than 365 F. Whichever you get make sure under Mounting it says Rotating Bracket. It will show you individual pictures of each so you'll see what you want.

They have a minimum order of $50, though. So you'll want to buy a few. I had to buy 5, but with the High Temperature ones you probably can get away with 4 since they are slightly more expensive.

SOURCE: Repalcement plates for Model 270A Toastmaster Waffle Iron?

Actually I have a Toastmaster 270A waffle iron. It is much better quality than the later toastmaster models, and it is basically identical to the Black & Decker model G48TD, which is still sold. You could get plates from Black & Decker. The entire iron sells for $50.

I have a model 269C toastmaster waffle Baker.. and need to replace the right handle which has a broke leg and is unstable ... other wise it's new... never been used

You can often find good replacement parts for waffle irons on eBay using your make and model # in the search box. Or buy another cheap used one in the same model and rob the parts from it.
