I overloaded my top load Roper washer with a huge comforter..now my washer goes thru the cycles but when its finished the clothes does not drain from spin cycle

After completed cycle, I then have to reset washer to the drain/spin cycle only and most of the time it spins out water just fine. takes a long time to do all this for one load.

SOURCE: kenmore he2 front loader washer won't do rinse spin cycle

kappharmd-

if yours is the same, the drain is hidden behind the lower access panel on the front (how convenient, huh?). I don't understand why they didn't just make a recess hole for it. I've just left one screw loose in the center and it kinda "compression" fits. We clean this out regularly, as my wife and family don't check pockets well. :)

The spin cycle will not spin properly, the clothes at the bottom are still dripping wet and I do not overfill the washer, and its on all cycles

Your drain pump is not draining properly. Remove from washer and inspect the pump section. Check for blockages or obstruction in the pipes.

Washer will not spin/drain properly.

a large load will sometimes get out of the top of the tub and cause the lid switch mounts to break and then the unit wont spin or drain. just look under the top and if you see the lid switch just hanging or not in the right place then replace the lid switch.

Washer isn't properly draining in normal wash cycle and start/pause button has to be pushed to restart washer 2-3 times to finish cycle. When cycle finally finishes, a 'drain cycle' has to be run to remove...

remove bottom cover ckd pump for possible restriction..most have acess port on front if not remove hoses also pump impeller may be slipping on shaft or have broken fins

Washer ax6245wv0 roper washer

Sounds like something in pump.  This is causing motor to hum and not turn.  Motor is going off on thermal overload.  This is why the humming stops.  It may be possible for you to tilt washer back and access pump.  Remove clip on bottom and top and pull pump off motor.  Try and turn pump.  Remove hoses and see if you can see obstruction.
