HP CP5225 giving error message "Re-install image transfer belt" belt is brand new, fixing properly, repeatedly same message appears.

C360 error: "Replace Image Transfer Belt Unit"

The error message under that title is "Have the image transfer belt replaced soon." It's a new unit, but resists doing the Gradation Adjust. Tried returning the old belt (which was working before the replacement) and error message remains, so apparently the problem is not with the new belt.

System Error Clear (System 1 -> Initialization) gives "Result: OK" but has no effect; the problem remains after machine restart. However, it does NOT at any time give L-5 error (Transfer belt unit accumulated rotation time excess warning), just continues to say "replace image transfer belt unit", and will not allow anything else to proceed. What am I missing? (Transfer belt clutch malfunction?

Release new transfer belt unit
• A new installation is not detected when a new transfer cleaner unit (image transfer belt unit) is installed. Remedy 1 Reinstall unit. 2 Check there is a short circuit in the fuse of the transfer belt unit. 3 Check the PRCB connector for proper connection and correct as necessary. 4 Change PRCB

The transfer belt is what places the image on the paper, which the belt receive from the drums. Get a new one or re-install the belt properly.

Sir, Open close front door. to reset. Ensure belt was install properly the code is for that device also check the transfer roller sponge one. ensure shipping parts remove before installation.

This error is caused by a rotation error on the ITB (transfer belt).

If turning the printer off and on again

does not resolve the 59.00 or 59.A0

error, remove and reinstall the image
transfer cleaner.

Post back if this does not resolve the error.

The message only clears when you install a new transfer unit, one that hasn't been used before. If you want to clear the message, you'll have to install a brand new transfer belt.
If you know the service PIN for the 4700, you can probably go into the service menu and clear the message, but otherwise a new transfer unit is the only way to go.

Take out the Imaging unit ,transfer belt and fix it properly.
Also take care that you will keep the printer on even surface.

IF nothing is solving the problem then you need to replace the transfer belt as a final solution.

"install transfer belt" message" appeared right after black toner was relpaced with a non samsung toner(new chip too)--installation of new transfer belt did not solve problem--- i went back and reinstalled the original samsung chip into the toner cartridge---the "install transfer belt" message is gone and the printer works but has a "low toner" message----i guess i learned my lesson the hard way---anyone in the market for a new transfer belt???........wj
