SOURCE: need instruction manual Miracle Maid electric skillet from 1970's

Miracle Maid Instruction booklets can be found on ebay. I've seen them several times, in fact there are several on today 7/29/2009. Just go to ebay.com and search for Miracle Maid. You may have to search daily, but you'll find them. You'll have to pay a little, but you can send in all your pots and pans and get replacements with one of those books. I had my pots and pans for 30+ years and now I have the new ones that replaced those. I'm thinking they will last 30 years too! Good Luck!

Eco+chef ceramic nonstick electric skillet. How can I remove plate ejector?

Removing the plate ejector from the Eco+Chef ceramic nonstick electric skillet might require some disassembly and should be done carefully. Please note that disassembling the appliance might void the warranty, so if the skillet is still under warranty, consider contacting the manufacturer or referring to the user manual for guidance.
Here are general steps you might follow to remove the plate ejector from an electric skillet. Please keep in mind that these steps can vary based on the specific model and design of your skillet, so it's crucial to consult the user manual or the manufacturer's customer support for precise instructions.
  1. Unplug the Skillet: Ensure the electric skillet is unplugged from the power source before attempting any disassembly.
  2. Remove External Screws: Look for screws or bolts on the bottom or sides of the skillet that hold the plate ejector in place. Use the appropriate screwdriver to remove these screws.
  3. Remove the Housing: Carefully remove the housing or casing of the skillet. This step might involve gently prying open the housing or removing additional screws. Be cautious not to damage the internal components.
  4. Locate and Remove the Plate Ejector: Once you have access to the internal components, locate the plate ejector mechanism. It might be connected to a lever or a button that you use to eject the plates. Disconnect any wires or levers attached to the plate ejector carefully.
  5. Remove the Plate Ejector: After disconnecting any attachments, you should be able to remove the plate ejector from its housing.
  6. Reassemble the Skillet: If you needed to remove other components or parts to access the plate ejector, make sure to reassemble the skillet properly. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
Remember, if you're uncomfortable or unsure about disassembling your electric skillet, it's best to seek help from a professional technician or contact the manufacturer's customer support for guidance. Attempting to disassemble the appliance without proper knowledge might lead to damage or injury.
