Someone hacked my yahoo account and changed the password so I cannot access my email....At the time I set up the account I did not have an alternate email nor did I provide a security question/answer. I gave them my cell phone number for password retrieval and I no longer have that number. My friends, family and co-workers are constantly receiving emails that I DID NOT SEND...Please tell me what to do!

It can be fixed but you would need to provide your original info and email address but you can't post it here.

I NEED TO CHANGE MY PASSWORD ON MY YAHOO AND GOOGLE ACCOUNT I STAYED LOGGED IN BUT SOMEONE HACKED INTO MY ACCOUNTS AND CHANGED EVERYTHING I AM EXPECTING EMAILS THAT WILL COST ME MILLIONS

You'll need to reset your passwords on both sites if they both have truly been hacked. At the login screen for each email site, you need to click "forgot password". It's usually just below the section where you would normally enter your username and password.

In most cases, you'll need to answer some "security questions" in order for your email provider to send you a password reset link, but once that's done, you'll be able to change your password to something you can remember.

I'd recommend using at least 8 characters; containing ONE capital letter, one to two numbers and at least one "special character" (*, #, !, ?).

I hope this information is helpful to you!

Someone keeps hacking my account, how can I stop this?

If your getting hacked you must first start with changing your email password and all other passwords. First run a good virus scan on your PC in Administrator mode. Then if you find anything remove it a re run a scan, Change all passwors for all accounts. Make sure you have a good firewall not windows firewall. Comodo is great and free. Make sure others arent getting onto your pc with out your knowing happens a lot. Make passwords hard numbers and letters.

I am look to unlock my gmail password but keeps on declining

Gmail, Google's email service, provides you with a free, online email address.
Your Gmail account is vulnerable to hackers if you don't take adequate steps to protect it.

Create a strong password that contains a mix of numbers and letters.
Use both upper and lowercase, and consider adding symbols.

Change your account's settings from HTTP to HTTPS.
Even if you take the necessary precautions, someone may still hack your account.

By checking various Gmail settings, you can determine if someone has hacked your account.
Sign in to your Gmail account.

If your password doesn't work, someone has compromised your account.
If your login works, scroll to the bottom of the Gmail screen until you find the Last Account Activity line.

Click "Details."
This opens a new window with all your recent account activity.

Check the Location box for any activity outside your area or from a strange IP address.
This is a sign that someone hacked your Gmail.

Click "Sent Mail" and look for any strange messages sent from your address.
If you find messages there that you didn't send, someone may have hacked your account.

Click the gear-shaped button on the top right side of the Gmail screen.
Choose "Mail Settings" from the drop-down list.

Check the Signature box to make sure no one changed it.
Hackers sometimes place links to malicious websites in this area.

If you send an email to someone and he unknowingly clicks one of these links, it can infect his computer.

Check the Vacation Responder section for a similar reason. Make sure no one has changed it or placed outgoing links.

Click the "Accounts and Import" tab at the top of the Settings page.
Click "Change Password Recovery Options" in the Change Account Settings section.

Enter your password if Gmail prompts you.
Check the Email section to make sure there are no strange addresses listed as a recovery email address.

If a hacker places one of his email addresses in this section, he can recover your password even after you've changed it.

While on this page, check your security questions to make sure no one changed them.
Close the "Recovering Your Password" page and return to your Gmail Settings page.

Check the "Grant Access to Your Account" section.
Unless you've added an account here, it should be empty.

If someone hacked your Gmail, you may find that he has added himself to your account in this section.
This means he can read your email and send messages from your address.

Click the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.
Check the Forwarding section to make sure no one changed it.

Check the POP Download section and the IMAP Access section.
Unless you enabled them in the past, POP and IMAP should be disabled.

Hackers use these options to gain access to your messages.
Click "Save Changes" if you altered any settings.

Someone sent spam email purportedly from me to everyone on my contact list. How can I prevent this from happening again?

Perform an immediate virus scan, your computer may be infected. Hackers get in through malicious links you may have clicked, and this is what results from those hacks.

Also perform malware and spyware scans, either of these can cause an issue such as this as well.

Change your password frequently, make it difficult so a hacker cannot gain access to your account.

Be sure to change your password after performing these scans, otherwise anything on your computer that a hacker will have, they will still have if you change your password prior to the scan.

How can i retrieve my yahoo email account [email protected], because someone hack my account, they change all my personal information, security question and i don't have any access on my alternate email.

you have to supply your alternate email account (if any) and answer all the questions. then change your password. or if that's the case, you have to write yahoo regarding your account that was hacked so they can block the said account. Last thing you can do, sign up for a new account.

Some hacked my account

Go to Yahoo and tell them that you forgot your password, it will email a confirmation/new password link to the account you set your email up with. If the hacker has already changed the contact password, you can also change it using one of the secret answers you setup for your account.
