Yes, if your evap is fully frosted, and the fan is not working. The frosted evap will keep it cold but since the fan cant move the cold air from the evap it'll be cold, but not as cold as you'd like.

there is the screen you need to order a new fan motor. option number 13 is the fan motor. lmk if u need more help!

IF YOU HAVE ALOT OF FROST ON THE BACK PANEL OF THE FREEZER IT IS A DEFROST T-STAT THAT CAN BE BAD IF THERE IS NO FROST FELL UP IN THE LEFT UPPER CORN OF THE FRIG SIDE SEE IF YOU CAN FILL THE AIR COMING OUT OF IT

my idea is the thermostat is bad. but won,t both of them be bad.

Freezer defrosted everything fan continues to run but will not freeze. Compressor is cycling enough to keep refigerator section cold. 106 Series Kenmore. Turned up thermostat to keep fridge cold and a shorter intermittent compressor cycle run

you may have defrost problem check see if you have frost build up in the freezer back wall

Possibly the defrost timer is not working or the unit needs to be cleaned underneath around the coils. You might try that 1st. If not let us know.
