Meens your display resolution is set to high. boot into safe mode. right click on blank area of the desktop and choose properties. then settings, now set the resolution to its lowest setting and apply it. click ok. now reboot. most flat panel tv's can only go as high as 1366 x 768

How solve in my POLYCOM VSX 6000 showing error "unsupported signal adjust your PC output"

Try using the S-Video output and then try using the VGA output from the VSX 6000 unit. The unit can be fixed to output from either as the first monitor output (you may have the dual monitor option enabled). If this does not work the resolution of the TV might be HD, the output of your VSX 6000 is Standard Definition. You will need a monitor that accepts standard definition. If this does not work, I would reboot your VSX 6000 and try again. David

Precision tv

If the TV accepts a USB connection try that format. If you have a HDMI port of the laptop, tether the two with an HDMI cable.
Other than that, unless you have WiFi capability between the laptop and TV receiver....nothing else works.

Message of Unsupported video signal after attaching laptop to TV.

it sounds like the resolution the laptop is trying to send is not one of the resolutions that the television can display. TVs can display a range of resolutions, so try changing the laptop resolution, either increasing it (make the pixels smaller) or lower the resolution, try a variety of resolutions, one should work.

When i connect my laptop to my tv through vga nothing happens the screen stays black

Most likely the signal to the tv is on unsupported resolution - change it (in display Properties) to the native one of your tv.

Unsupported video signal

It is possible that Jewelquest changes the screen resolution to one that is not supported by the TV. I am not familiar with Jewelquest, but the typical reason for the unsupported message is a resolution outside of the supported range. The supported resolutions should be listed in the owner's manual. I am trying to hook up my hp laptop to my sony bravia tv and when i make the connection the laptop monitor goes black and the tv says unsupported signal. I then have to reboot the laptop to get the screen...

"Unsupported Signal" means that your laptop is probably set to a resolution or refresh rate that yoru TV doesn't support. You will need to go into your Laptops video settings to make them match what your tv will display.

Pc setting for sony bravia

'Unsupported Signal' Error indicates that TV is accepting the signals for Video but not able to display because resolution doesn't matches. Else the message would be 'No Signal'.
Follow the steps-
NOTE- Make sure cable is 15 pin(at both ends) VGA cable, working fine between PC & Monitor.
1.The standard resolution of laptop(any) which would support is 1024*768.
2. Toggle the display output from Laptop Fn Keys depending on Laptop Brand.
3. Connect the cable after settings made.
Also PC Settings will not be highlighted until connection is made.
