Question about Epson Stylus CX4400 All-In-One InkJet Printer
The text of a document will not print. The graphics will print, but the text will not print.
Print From Your Computer : Windows Printing
Select Basic Options
Click the Main tab on the top of the printer settings window to select your basic print options.
Select a Quality Option that matches your document or photo, and the print quality you want.

Draft: for rough drafts with reduced quality
Text: for documents containing only text
Text & Image: for documents with text and images
Photo: for photos and graphics with good quality and print speed
Best Photo: for photos or graphics with high print quality
Select the paper Type setting that matches the paper you loaded.
Select the paper Size setting for the paper you loaded.

You can load paper in these sizes and select the size in the printer software. (Wider papers are for use only when reducing large images with the Reduce/Enlarge Document option.) A User Defined option is also available so you can create a custom size.

A6 (4.1 × 5.8 inches)
Letter (8.5 × 11 inches)
Legal (8.5 × 14 inches)
Half Letter (5.5 × 8.5 inches)
3.5 × 5 inches
4 × 6 inches
5 × 7 inches
8 × 10 inches
16:9 wide (4 × 7.11 inches)
Envelope #10 (4 1/8 × 9 1/2 inches)
If you’re printing borderless photos, click the Borderless checkbox. For documents or photos with borders, select Borders.
For borderless photos, make sure you loaded a compatible borderless paper size and type. 5. Choose Portrait or Landscape orientation for your document or photo. There may be multiple reasons why your prints are blank. To resolve this problem, we have an easy Step-by-Step Solutions and Repair tool.
Within the tool, select Print quality, then Blank prints. .
Clean the printhead, then print a demo sheet.
If so, you may need to replace the printhead. This is a very common problem with this model.
You have to contact Kodak to be sent a new printhead to fix the problem. You click through the support on Kodak and then they automatically send out a new print head. To get the link to this on-line support chat with the live tech support and they can direct you where to go to find this solution.
