If it is EA8278 then tank out, bottom tray out, debris container on side out, drawer above it out. Unscrew 1 or 2 screws inside beans container, remove adjustment knob (clicks up and off) remove beans container. Undo two outer screws under front top flap and one screw at center back was hidden by beans container. The oblong full size bezel at the front of the machine clicks upwards to click out of its clips. Lift lid at the front and wriggle it about forcefully to unclip the rear catches. Undo 2 screws one each side at bottom that were exposed by front bezel removal and 2 screws exposed by tank removal. Rear and sides are one piece and slide back for removal. That's it, you're in.

Krups don't recognise that model number in the online service data I have access to.

Krups EA8260 repair manual

That part is called a distrubutor and is not classed as a serviceable part so there is no information for it apart from a part number. I have looked inside one once and if you are careful and methodical pulling it apart you should have no problem putting it back together again.

Krups FND1 lid pressure release spring and seat came apart. How do I reassemble the safety release?

The lid is broken, you need a new lid. I have checked online and it is available, part number is MS 0927155. There will be small plastic pieces in the boiler, fill it up and tip it upside down & shake it about.

Not dispensing water

I have the same problem, took it apart and looks like the water connector after the water heater has a relief valve that is shooting water out of the relief part. Took it apart and the plastic part inside has crumbled apart from the heat. The part has three hoses that connect to it with a black relief valve on the top. I don't have a part number for it yet, but Krups should be able to tell you if you describe it. If you still have the machine, here is a guide to taking it apart:

Can the lid on the Krups Aroma coffeee pot be taken apart to clean?

Yes!!! by the word lid do you mean the top or swing out filter holder? If you use small flat screwdriver you can expand plastic at hinge enough to pull apart!

GVX2 krups coffee grinder; how to open it?

I have the same issue. You need to take both dials off, then on the bottom, there are 4 tabs on the inside. Seperate the halves and you will see them. Towards the front and halfway back. Pry the halves apart enough to push the top towards the bottom and it slides apart pretty easy. The tricky part now is finding the replacement part. I have super glued my switch and I want to do something to try and repair it further. Maybe epoxy. I called Krups and they can't sell the part to me. I called one of their service centers and they can't sell the part to me. So, if someone knows where to get the part, I am all ears :)
