I am trying to print coupons and it keeps telling me it can't because my properties are set to "Keep Printed Documents" so when I can in and uncheck it, it doesnt fix the problem and when I open it back up..."keep printed documents" still has a check next to it even though i unchecked it and hit "ok". Grrrrr!
If you have a Brother printer please change the following:
Start -> Control Panel -> Printers and Faxes -> Right click on your selected printer and select "properties"
Go to Advanced tab -> Print Processor
Change the settings from "BRMFC" print to "WinPrint" and set default to "raw" and Click Apply
Now go back to uncheck "Keep Printed Documents" and attempt to print the coupon.
I am a big fan of coupons.com, their tech support guy sent me these instructions. Good Luck!!
This is a bit weird. Of course, with keep documents on, the coupons will be stored to a file and you could then take them and give them away, then the website would lose the traffic ... My solution was to turn off printer spooling, since the keep document setting would not stay off. I have a Brother HL-1440. It seems even deselecting from the registry would not keep the setting toggled off. I have not sent this to Brother, but I believe this is the driver telling windows to apply this setting if the print spooler is turned on. I am using the most recent driver. So, (WinXP) clisk START, Settings, Printers, Right-click and properties, select advanced and then turn off the print spooler.
Brother's Fix for this problem is here:

I had the exact same issue, I need to check the option "print directly to the printer" which greyed out the "keep printed documents" option. I was then able to print.
When my printer prints coupons from eversave, it does not print the whole coupon. I have mfc-420cn printer. It is like there is a margin off somewhere. It is offset on the paper. Cuts off about 1/8 of coupon.
Here's the solution that worked for me:
If you are unable to print coupons from the Internet the print processor setting in the driver needs to be changed. To change the setting:
1. Open the Printers folder:
a) Windows 98/ME/2000: Click START -> SETTINGS -> PRINTERS
b) Windows XP: START -> (SETTINGS) -> PRINTERS AND FAXES, or (PRINTERS AND OTHER HARDWARE then PRINTERS AND FAXES)
c) Windows Vista: Click WINDOWS/START -> CONTROL PANEL -> PRINTER
2. Right mouse click on the Brother printer and left click PROPERTIES.
3. Click on the ADVANCED tab.
4. Click the PRINT PROCESSOR button.
5. Under Print Processor, select WINPRINT.
6. Under Default Datatype, make sure RAW is selected. Click OK.
7. Back on the Advanced tab remove the check next to KEEP PRINTED DOCUMENTS.
8. Click APPLY and OK. Try printing the coupons again.
It worked for me after searching for over an hour... good luck... so much work for just a $2 coupon... (sigh)

Faults like this are usually caused by the printing software, not the
driver. Something is resetting your Keep Printed Documents option back
to Checked. As you will notice, all three complaints are from people
trying to print coupons, likely all using the same software.
You will have to contact the people that make the software and tell
them your brand name and model and maybe they can correct their
software.
Also, you can visit Brothers website and get the latest firmware update
for your model, and newest driver. If these two options don't work,
leave Brother an e-mail on their website and notify them of this
problem. I have worked on these machines extensively and have not
encountered this problem with any other software.
You can also "Print to file", and then open the file with some other
software (such as Word or Paint) and then print it from there.

Here's the solution that worked for me: If you are unable to print coupons from the Internet the print processor setting in the driver needs to be changed. To change the setting: 1. Open the Printers folder: a) Windows 98/ME/2000: Click START -
SOURCE: Keep Printed Documents
Deletes and reinstall print drivers, does'nt sound like a printer problem, more software issue, driver reinstall is my best bet
What are you printing from? ie program is?, and can you print windows test page OK?
1. Open Printers and Faxes.
2. Right mouse click on the Epson printer and
left click Properties.
3. Click on the Advanced tab.
4. Click the Print Processor button.
5. Under Print Processor, select WinPrint.
6. Under Default Datatype, make sure RAW is
selected. Click OK.
7. Back on the Advanced tab remove the check next
to Keep Printed
Documents.
8. Click Apply and OK.
