Cannon chichester calor gas oven

The above ovens don't get hot, the flame is on but doesn't flare up to get oven up to temperature

    I also have a Cannon Double Oven, same problem, upper oven seems to work ok (so far), but the lower oven just stays on a low flame (like initial ignition), but will not rise to the required gas mark.

    cannon stratford - flame in oven is on but won't increase as I turn dial. grill and hobs are fine.

The FFD or it might be called an FSD in cannons case is faulty it needs replacing. The fault is that it is not forcing open the valve to let teh gas come through when it gets hot... These are easy to fit if you know what your doing .... Be careful it is a corgi man job. Flame faliure device or flame saftey device.... 100 %

If it's duel fuel ie electric ovens then yes . If it has gas ovens then it's not worth doing as the ffd's will require replacing as well as the injectors and bypass screws

Flame very low in bottom oven
If the flame stays low from the beginning then it will be the flame safety device (fsd) not opening on sensing the flame and will require replacement by a gas certified engineer.

The ignitor is bad again,if it (ignitor) comes on but no flame/heat its the ignotor again, what would make the ignotor go bad so fast (usually last 10-15 years) is a problem with the oven burner, so now BOTH the ignitor and burner would need to be replaced,if it is 15 years old the ignitor is readily avaliable but the burner may not be

If the burner does not light (with a huge flame above it) I would direct you to some gas line blockage.
But if the burner flame lights good and then goes out early before it's good and hot then I would direct you to a defective oven temperature sensor. The sensor is in the upper wall of the oven cavity, can be bought at your local appliance parts store, and installed by any handyman.
