There are more factors at play than diabetes. Fumigants may be an issue but there are other things as well. Have you had this kind of shoes before and how did you react to them then? When does this pain occur? How much activity do you do in these shoes?

  • Anonymous Mar 04, 2017

My feet usually burn at night or late afternoon and not always when I have been wearing shoes.

I still recommend you talk to a doctor or a pedorthist about this. Seeing you in person will give them to hear your history, do tests and give a lot more clues to cracking this problem.

Please can you advise if all elna discs and sewing feet will fit an elna supermatic 62C. As I wish to purchase some secondhand and I am not sure if they will fit my machine

Yes, if you are using discs and feet that have all come from the Elna Tavara SA factory (Swiss made) then you are in luck, all the feet are interchangeable between the machines (not the Contessa though, it was made in Japan). The Star series and earlier had one piece feet. The Air Electronics went to a heel and detachable sole design but the height and attachment method is the same between them all. So you can purchase the newer heel and clip on soles and use on the older models if you wish. With the Elnagraph discs almost all the single and double discs can be switched between the machines with the Elnagraph. I have discs from Star Series and Air Electronic and use them all. I think there is one exception with the discs, the very first ones have a deeper or shallower little finger that locks the disc in, I cant quite remember what it was. But on the whole, yes they will switch between models. If you are into the Swiss Elnas there is a fantastic member group in Yahoo Groups called Elna Heirlooms who share their love and knowledge of these amazing machines.

How do skateboard shoes benefit the overall performance of my skateboarding?

The soles on skateboarding shoes are flat and are able to grip the board better. They have flexible soles that allow constant feel of the skateboard.

I purchased a hush puppies pair of sandals about a week ago, now the soft cushion feeling has completely gone...what should i do?

Try gel inserts on them. You can get small ones, like the ones for heels. You can look HERE to get your own custom soles, which are extremely comfortable and can be put right on the shoe. Not only will it make your shoes comfortable like before, but putting them on your shoes can help your feet in so many more ways. Or you can just buy another pair of the shoes or Dr. Sholls shoes. I hope this helped.

Could you guys recommend me on some good skater shoes?

World Industries are a nice basic shoe. Look for a sole that wears well but is flexible and not too thick. (so your feet can feel the deck)
Look for tough stitching and a good patch of material where ollies come into contact

Could you guys recommend me on some good skater shoes? The list isn't in order of best to worst - all of these shoes are top quality. Link to the list:http://skateboard.about.com/od/gear/tp/TPShoes.htm

Vans has been around since the beginning, and along the way they've learned how to make great skate shoes. Vans skateboarding shoes are some of the best

Saucony ignition 2. I wish to consult you guys! Saucony ignition 2, they have excellent reviews and wanted to know if they support NORMAL/NEUTRAL ARCHES? will they work fine for my feet since i am normal...

I love my saucony ignition sneakers. I have normal to high arches too. They have a really nice cushioned sole and just the right amount of support. At times, I also put insoles inside to add slightly more inside arch support if I'm running frequently for just feel like my feet are tired. I have tried other brands and have not found the fit I love with the Saucony brand. I just went to ****'s Sporting goods 2 days ago thinking mine were worn. Was talked into the asics gel, which are also nice. Got home, compared them to my old ignition's and to my surprise realized the Saucony's were still a better feel. Not worn out after all. Bringing back Asics tommorrow. Plus, Saucony igniton was half the price. Hope you will enjoy your's as much as I do.
