Hp 42 plasma tv cptoh 0602 specs all the time and wavy sd video

Two problems.  First I'm getting specs on the screen white ones.  Mostly notable on dark colors on the screen.  Seems to be mostly on the lower third of the screen.
Second I have this odd issue that when watching standard def TV it will get al screwy and wavy looking.  The on screen menues do not do it.  If I change inputes and then go back or change to a station with HD and then go back it works for a little while.  It happens at random with no real noticable tigger to it.

Mine has done this from day one, appears to be a resolution problem. All I do is go to a HD channel let it tune in and then go back the the SD channel and don't have to worry about it until next time the power has cycled.

I replaced the module on YSUS board and replaced the FS2 fuse on hp cptoh-0602 plazma tv. TV worked great for about 2 hrs of usage time. however, while i was changing the channal few days later since...

Usually, when you replace Y-sustain board, for older plasma, they suggest to replace both Ydrive board (up and low). And sometimes, Z-sustaint.

Im not sure your are an expertise in this matter so be very careful when you open a TV because hasardous voltages can kill you in the worst escenario.

If you are not, don't work on your TV. It will be your sole responsibility.

Check ships on Y drive board (both board are installed on the right side of Y-sustain. They have square black ships that used to get bad. If they don't have aluminum cooler on them, you can see if they are burned or have holes on them. Old plasmas use to have issues with those boards. Before you installed the Y Sustain you should check Ydrive boards. Maybe you damage the Y Sustain because the Y drives weren't good.

Try to replace the fuse, disconnect the Ydrive from Y Sustain, turn on TV and check for voltages on Y sustain (panel has a sticker with each voltage). Hope you didn't damage Y sustain and can find Ydrive board to fix your TV.

And REMEMBER, you can kill yourself when you work on TVs.

PINK SCREEN ON DAEWOO PLASMA TV

Sounds like your panel might be going out or a faulty video card. This is the first time I have heard of a solid pink screen on a plasma. Usually this happens on LCDs, though they sometimes go white and stay white, which does signal a bad panel. tv needs repair

Hp 42in plasma tv

There is some voltages that need adjusted in your tv and possibly the z sustain board needs replaced if the voltage adjustment doesn't fix it.
