Trying to slice a bagel with a Globe model 875LR slicer ,even using fences to hold the bagel put ,and sharpened blade,but the end of the slice is not cutting good and piecesgetting stuck in the blade!

The belt might need adjustment because it is slipping in manual mode.

The tw sharpener stones should be fixed with the screw provided to the blade

it is most likely an oil seal on the shaft behind the slicer blade
if it is then you will have to pull the seal and take it to a bearing and seal shop and have it matched up
remember that any lubrication used has to be in conformance with food production standards ( not car oil or grease)

I think it is set to cook bagels. Check the control settings.
Most toasters have a bagel setting which only cooks the
sliced side of the bagel. This model is designed to accept bagels. Hope this helps.

The stone that sharpens the back bevel is used for more time, but use grind for minimal amount of time, 30-40 seconds sounds extreme to me. The stone for the top surface of the blade is only pressed briefly to remove the slight burrs from sharpening on the back side of the blade.

you can try to add a washer and if that doesnt work just go to a ardware store and get a shorter screw as well as some thread lock

Fiber gear on blade hub stripped. deep socket required to remove hub. DON'T CUT YOURSELF!! remove motor, used food safe solvent to clean grease out of housing. Fiber gear held on with snap ring. Replace gear, repack housing, put hub and motor back and start slicing. Routinely check to make sure gear is lubed.
