Yes, he said that in one of the primary debates. Sort of an off-hand remark, when talking about the economy and how to sustain it, and if minimum wage needed to be raised. About that time, he said yes, American wages were too high, so we can't raise the minimum. You can't pin Trump down. He often flip-flops, and has about the question of minimum wage. Most Republicans would agree that our wages are too high, they only support the rich.

Minimum wages were raised in American Samoa... but the canning INDUSTRY... was promptly razed... all over a 25 cent minimum wage bump ... which while provided was never enjoyed... to but sure!

Quite a BUMP for all the American Samoan's lost jobs.

Yep it is true, in my state they charge also. Because the store where the part came from was in my state. Now I look for parts in states with no tax. Even ebay now can be a better deal. Hold on tight it will get worse. My governor told Amazon to report anyone who had tax bills that should paid. We cant win.

Well the advantages are obvious for the employee. One major disadvantage is it fuels inflation.

Moreover, this proposal is a phased in increase over a couple of years or more.
So, the minimum wage in Seattle is not as $15 at the present time; Seattle DID NOT (at any time in the past) raise the minimum wage to $15.00
Stories of this proposal have been published since the second half of 2013, but I don't think the proposal has been approved or even voted on.
