SOURCE: GAS RANGE

Msmaytag it sounds like the oven wasn't converted properly if at all to propane. If you look at the bake burner while the oven is on you should see very little yellow on the flame. If you see mostly yellow, try adjusting the air to more open. This will changed the air/fuel and may resolve the issue. If not, follow the directions for converting to propane and see if the orfice hood was either replaced or tightened down. I am not quite as familiar with the maytag is why I ask you to follow the directions. The issue with propane is that it runs at 10wc instead of the 5wc of natural gas. So double the pressure, you need more air to thin the fuel. Hope this helps.

Maytag gas oven has an F1 code. Model # CGR3740ADW.

The F1 code on a Maytag electric stove means the electronic range control, clock or touch pad is defective. You or a technician can do a test to determine which item is broken, but you must replace the electronic clock range in models where the touch pad and range control are one part.

Maytag oven will not ignite

If its a square glow bar it must pull 3.5 apms to open the gas valve. Round ones pull 2.5 apms. even though the glow bar is on it must be real bright. Has it been taken over 45 second to light the oven. You will need some way to check the amps. If its getting enough amps the safety valve is bad.

The oven of maytag range mgr5775qdw poorly

The ignitors/burners need to be cleaned properly.

Build up of grease, dirt, rust, mineral deposits, etc can cause improper gas flow resulting in a delayed ignition. That causes a build up of gas and the delayed ignition ignites it all at once, and you have your WHOOMP mini explosion.

Maytag Gas range

We had the same thing happen and had the Atco Gas company come out to look at it.  Our regulator was not working properly which caused CO to be relased.  We were told that the problem could be fixed for about $250-300 (CAN.) including parts and labour.
