Question about OKI Office Equipment & Supplies

Open Question

I am geting "Service call required" error in my OKI C831 printer. May you please advice me for farther action to solve this issue?"

Printer rebooted. Printer Online. Factory resset can't be done as power button is not responding. Toner, paper is ok(I would say I didn't check if there is a paper jam or issue with the fuser).

SOURCE: canon iP 3300 printer service error 6502

CANON PIXMA IX IP 4000 - error 5100 and error 6502

While testing the printer the cover must be closed!
So if you have a CISS in your printer you have to close the cover after replacinq cartridge because after that
replacinq the printer is testinq the cartridges also with the blinkinq LEDS which are installed on the ink's!
There is a light LED sensor under the cover which detects the blinking.
So if you have destroyed the LED on chips or if you covered them with glue OR if you will leave the cover opened
and press cover-open detection button with a pen (then the day ambient light will come inside to cover)
you will get an error 6502 or error 5100. I think that the same error will come with all printers which use
CLI8 CLI-8 cartridges.
Remebre that the blinking led have to be clean and blink after installing new cartidge.

Other reason is that you mixed the chips ang give i.e. chip from yellow to blue and blue to i.e.red. and black to yello etc etc. (YOU MIXED THEM :) )
I hope it will help

SOURCE: HP 2820 printer 50.2 fuser Error

Your problem is in the fuser. 50.2 means the fuser is not reaching temerature properly in the allotted time. It either has a burned out ceramic heating element or thermistor (hi/low thermometer).

Here's a link to a free service manual that will walk you through testing it.

Hope that helps you. If so hit it with a FIXYA rating. :o)

I'm getting a service error 02 in a printer oki b6100. How do I solve this problem?

Hello,

The OKI B6100n Laser printer is a unique printer. These Error messages are to enable you detect the fault and resolve it if you can and the once you cant it resolve,u call the repairman.

The Service Error 02 means that there is a paper jam inside the printer and the only way to resolve it is to remove the paper from the indicated location on the printer.
You can also check the user manual on the CD ROM of the printer for more information and how to correct similar error messages on the printer.

Thank you.

Fatal Error 121

Hi and welcome to Fixya!
"Fatal Error" on your printer display or status monitor simply means a problem has occurred requiring action to clear. Fatal Error explanations are not usually found in the manual. You can check the list of error codes from the link below:
http://www.c8600.co.uk/index.asp?printername=C8600&menumode=0&content=errorcodes
RECOMMENDED STEPS:
First, try turning off your printer then turning it back on. If you're still getting the same error message, make sure the printer is plugged directly into the wall. Often, the issue is power-related.
If the problem persists, write down the message including the 3-digit error code number and send an email to "[email protected]" or call Oki Data Customer Support (1-800-654-3282) for assistance.
NOTE: If you see a series of letters and numbers scrolling across the display after the 3-digit error code, write it down and report them when calling or emailing Customer Support.

I GET ERROR CODE 010-349 WHEN TURN PRINTER ON

Hi!

The error issue your printer is facing means "Fuser STS Front Disconnection fail"

First try to reset the printer by powering off and then on. If the problem still persists then you need to detect fuser or fuser assembly which is required to be replaced.

Please do rate this solution as FixYa and revert for further assistance.

Thanks
