I have a fisher & paykel active smart fridge the fridge part freezes everything and wont stop beeping when door open

Your fridge is telling you there is a fault, i'd say one of the 2 fans are not working. If everything is freezing in the bottom of the food compartment then the upper fan is faulty. You have to remove the shelves & remove the rear panel, the fan is in the shute at the bottom, remove, repair the broken wire or replace. Make sure unit is unpluged.

I have a Norcold n611 fridge gets too cold and freezes even on lowest setting.

The temperature control thermostat, alson known as the colds control thermostat has gone bad and basically isn't converting electrical/temperature signal properly and needs to be replaced.

Norcold 611 freezes everything in the fridge

NOTE: This
is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very, very carefully.
Sounds like the cold control has stuck . Unplug the two wires from the cold control and plug them together. Turn one wire over and plug it into the other. away from the cold control.
The cold control is the knob in the ref that turns it on and off and has numbers on it. (Thermostat)
If it runs then that cold control (Thernostat) is the problem.
If that doesn't work DO THIS:
The relay on the compressor may need replaced
A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out
Thats what is happening with yours
Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it
Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram
showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay
also try hooking the two wires together on the cold control to route around the cold control.
Be sure the BACK COVER is in place and hasnt been accidently removed.

Top is over freexing and bottom is no longer freezing. It was working fine and we noticed this today.

There could be a simple fix. Maybe the controls got changed during cleaning. If both of the controls on the freezer and the refrigerator are at a medium setting everything controlwise should be ok.If the top is freezing lower control setting.

Frig Freezing EVERYTHING!

Your refrigerator has electronic dampers that may be only stuck. I think it would not hurt to defrost the refrigerator and lets have a look at those damper motors and see if they are responding to your control settings. Let me know, Sea Breeze

EVERYTHING FREEZES!

Probably need to replace that temperature control. Also check damper. If manual, set to where less air is going to fridge.
