Pull the inlet hose off the drain pump to check for clogs. If this goes into a garbage disposal back flush the pump with a pressurized water source will also work. This means removing the unit from the house of course. Do you hear the drain pump running after a cycle completes?
pump you can buy them cheaper on sites, not knowing your model, but what you are saying i think you have been told wrong about the control panel, panel failed you would not have any info or controls. it could even just be a blocked filter on the bottom pump. if it has been stored and not used the filter could be blocked the pump uses it to drain and feed the dishwasher so it needs a filter to filter out food etc. if its dried out the food etc would block the filter.
Hi Thanks
for using FixYa. To start with check the water inlet valve which is located
behind the lower access panel on the left or right side of the Dishwasher. If
the water inlet valve is bad you have to replace it, also check the main water
line for clogs/obstructions. If still the issue is not resolved then it’s a bad
float switch and needs to be replaced. Please do rate the solution if the
issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance. Thanks Rylee
Most likely the water level detector (the sensor that tells the dishwasher to stop taking more water) is failing. It is giving early signals which confuses the dishwasher and it turns water off. Most of the time these problems are linked to grime collecting in the inside of dishwasher.
You can clean it by using a dishwasher cleaning powder. Follow instructions on satchet. YOu may have to manually fill the dishwasher before starting it. If this cleaning does not fix it, then you may have to call the technician. You may be under warranty on this (hopefully)
Bosh dishwashers work off a gravity pump system. They sometimes require a stronger pump. Make sure if it has a air gap either at the top of the sink or johnston T or in the wall that, that is not plugged. They are very sensitive to how the drainelines are set as well. If it was installed prfessionally, call the installer back out as they should warranty there install for 1 year. Also all products have a 1 year MF warranty as well. You should be able to get a BOSH tech out at NO charge to see if it is a deffective pump.
