Internal dust speck on Canon A720is in same upper right corner

Press the FUNC/SET button. Use up/down to select Drive Mode (the rectangle, third item from the top). Use left/right to select the desired delay and press FUNC/SET. Start the self-timer by pressing the shutter release button.

My best guess is to go to the canon web site, support/download pages and see if there's a firmware upgrade for your camera.

Hello. You will find a very small slide switch on the upper left edge of the card.They seem to be quite delicate the less you use it the better.

Yes,more than likely there is a little button cell battery that powers the date and time.You'll have to look in your manual to find its location.I just discovered my battery is dead.Yep i checked the manual even tho i already knew where to find it.Took some reading to find but it was there in the manal.Its located in the battery compartment on my canon A720IS.Mine takes a CR 1220 - 3Volt.I'm still trying to find a replacement.Guess i'll have to go to a camera store to get the battery.Couldn't find at any of the usall places.Hope this helps someone,Gary Malcontent

I was having the same problem and changing to Alkaline batteries seems to have solved the problem. I hope this helps!

Open your files with Virtual Dub and save as another file name. VD is free.

This is somthing your going to have to get fixed at a shop

At this point, I installed rechargable batteries and camera appears to be working properly. I will be taking a lot of pictures the next couple of weeks, we'll see how it performs.
