Hi William Yanez, we want to help you with your question, but we need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box?

E06 does not tell us the part number of the transistor ?
?Download and have a look at the service manual and identify the part number from the schematics and parts lists to identify the exact transistor .
?The name of the circuit board may narrow it down a bit also.
    https://www.elektrotanya.com/sherwood_rx...
?click on get manual link and download as a pdf
    ?
Good luck , A similar HFE value and voltage and current rating transistor would do the task if you can find this out on the mystery transistor. You may have trouble finding an exact part

My Sherwood RX-4109 sounds "quieter" and "muddier" than it previously did. Also the "click" when it turns on in quieter. Wondering what this could mean

Main board fault. Shorted component/s at its audio output section circuit. Most common fault is with its audio output transistors. If any one of them get shorted [collector to emitter short]; this kind of fault can occur. Check 2SD1510 / 2SB2510 transistor pair at this section circuit for short. If found shorted, check all the other components related to these transistors and make sure that all are good; otherwise, the replaced transistor too will get damaged in no time. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

When power is turned on, standby light comes on normally, but in any playing mode, the receiver switches off and the standby light flashes.

It looks like this is a common problem with a lot of the Sherwood Receivers. I've had the same problem with my R-125RDS for a while now. Finally hit on solution today by replacing a power transistor. The transistor in question is not on the power amp board but instead screwed to the chassis and wired to the mainboard. I believe it is part of the output short protection circuit. In my case the component was a 2SD2059 (silicon NPN 100V,5A) replaced by equivalent 2SD1407. The transistor seems to run pretty warm so I guess this is why they ultimately fail after a few years.

I have a Sherwood AI-2110R Amplifier system - but no manual and I'm wanting to know what the 2 sets of plugs marked "EXT" can be used for please? We are trying to hook up a surround sound system which...

I was looking for informations about the Sherwood AI-2110R and it seems to be an integrated stereo amplifier with good power. However the "external" plugs seem to deliver only the "passing" sound, what means that the signal needs to be powerd by an external amplifier. I don´t believe that a simple surround set would be able to do that. Maybe the best solution would be to hook another amplifier to the external plugs, via an "aux" connection.

My sherwood r525 only plays preamp and i was wondering how to fix it

I have the manual for the Sherwood R-925 and I think they might be simlar in design. It's says for this problem check transistors Q215 and Q216 on the AMP302 board.
Of course you will have to determine if this can help solve your problem. I think the model you have is just the dolby surround model and the 925 the dolby digital, but they look nearly the same I think!

Buckles are broken

At a Sherwood dealer? You might also go into ANY SCUBA store with your mask. Many brands have similar or even identical parts.
OR contact the company for a replacement.

Sherwood rx-4105 output transistors

You can also use 2SD2560 and 2SB1647 130watt 150volt 15amp transistor, but it may require some rebiasing the on output transistors. Sherwood have used these transistors in their older model receivers. I just replaced those transistors in my Sherwood RX-4105 Receiver, and they work good as well.

Before I install those transistor. I did a out of circuit 20volt 4amp DC current test to a 4ohm resistor @ 200watt load to compare 2SD2560 / 2SB1647 to the B2510/B1510 mounting them on 5 square inch, 1/8" thick piece of Aluminum, and the results of the test, the 2SD2560 / 2SB1647 heats up in 60 seconds to around 120 degrees F, and the B2510 and D1510 heats up in 30 seconds to around 120 degrees F.
