SOURCE: tv not working

Can you confirm that you didn't have any input signal? My wife once accidentally pressed the reset button on the remote and the TV was stuck in this state. I tried to hook up an antenna to the digital antenna input and let the TV search for a channel. It did find a station and got out of the channel search mode, which was all I needed. Then, I unhook the antenna and continued to enjoy my DVD movie. I didn't check the manual. So, it's possible that there is a better solution. My TV was working fine and I think it just has a terrible user interface. I'm not sure about your TV's condition, though.

SOURCE: HDTV Sharp- Input select to watch Cable tv

On the sharp remote you will find an input button. You depress the input button and a menu will appear and highlight the input you are presently on. Hit the input button again to select the next input. If you wait to long to depress the input button it will not work and you have to begin again. This unit will only hightlight inputs have a component hooked to that input.

SOURCE: DS24205 TV INPUT PROBLEM

You can buy an rf modulator ( very cheap) and connect your dvd player, game console etc) to the modulator then connect the modulator to your antenna with a coax cable. This worked for me. It placed the connection to channel 4 and other cable channels are still working,

You can buy the RF Modulator from: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180299245670

SOURCE: mintex 37 inch wide screen. remote is working however cannot change channel, input source or volum. only turns tv off. The buttone on tv doesnot work connot change input source or volume

Check if the remote is in TV position, that is, because most of the remote controllers have the feature that you can program them for use with another devices. Make shure that one button that says "TV" in pressed and released once before you try to change any function on the TV.

How do I link amazon music channel with my amazon music account I cant enter the code anywhere.

Sounds like you are doing it backwards. The registration code appears on your TV screen when you add the Amazon music channel to your channel list.
Go to Roku main screen
Choose "channel store"
Choose "music"
Choose "Amazonmusic"
choose 'go to channel"
Code will appear on your screen. Enter it on your computer at the rokumusic address you used in your post.
That should get the tunes flowing!

Can't locate channel

You're going to have to call their customer support and have a chat with them, they most likely will send someone out and charge you for that though if they can't fix it remotely from there call center.

My TV will not register channels

Think that your tuner section has been compromised by the surge. Happens. If your other audio/video inputs work you can plug an external tuner in there.

My father in law has one of these digital recievers and on channel scans it says no channals! im unfamiliar with these recievers and i was wondering if u need to register or need a special antenna or what...

Hello,

where was the receiver bought from? The receiver needs to be registered before it can get channels. Also you need the help of an expert that will help you scan the channels using the right/correct frequency.

The receiver needs to be connected to a dish, subscribed (registered), and it should get channels.

Good luck.
