Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine the type of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI and WMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is an incompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to a format that your MP3 player uses. After video conversion then copy the video files to your MP3 player using the USB cable from your computer. The only way to play an mp3 player through this head unit is through an adapter. You will need to go to Best Buy or some electronics store and buy a cd-to-cassette adapter. You just plug the adapter into the mp3 player's headphone jack and insert the cassette into the head unit. Let the cassette play and play your music through the mp3 player and boom, you have a mp3-capable head unit.
1. Downloads must be on your computer. 2. Turn on Mp3 player, go to settings, make sure USB mode is set to MSC. 3. Connect MP3 player to the computer. 4. If using Windows operating system, click the Start button, go to 'My Computer' 5. There should be a drive labeled 'Removable Disk', drag your music files to this location. 6. Disconnect MP3 player from the computer 7. Play audio files
*Note - Audio files must be MP3 or Unprotected Windows Media Audio files (that is all this unit will play).
Perhaps your audio book was from audible.com. They use their own audible format ( .aa instead of .mp3) and only certain mp3 players can play .aa files. If the book is in .aa format, go to www.audible.com and check to see whether or not your player is compatible with .aa files. If not, you're outta luck.
