The rule of thumb when calculating dog years is that they age 5-7 years to our every ONE year we age. So, roughly 50 to 70 years old.

A dogs time goes 7 times faster than a humans time, so if a dog is 10 human years old they are 70 in dog years. Which also means a day for us is like a week for them, that’s probably why they are so overjoyed to see you when you’ve been at work all day, for them it’s like they haven’t seen you in a week!

Depends on the type of dog; large or small, and whether inbred or a cross bred.
In general a cross breed has a better constitution and small dogs live longer than very large ones.
