Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.

Reset pioneer tv

I rearranged furniture in my living room, picking up my pro-151fd elite, plugged it in to have no power, tried everything I could think of including an overnight reset. Thought of what could be the common denominator with most of the issues that people have, it's that they picked it up, felt under the front left and turned the tv on. The switch is not labeled, is part of a sqaure protrusion at the very bottom of the tv, 1" to the right of the "Pioneer" label, hope this helps someone who just has a dead tv without the blue flashing lights.

Plasma tv no longer powers up

The gas has leaked out and can't be fixed unless you pay to have a new panel assembly put in. Sorry its trash now as you can replace it cheaper now a days.

I have an Elite faltscreen television that has been working well for over one year. For an unknown reason, the blue light (next to the on/off switch0 is blinking and the TV is not responding or turing...

Please count the number of flashes of the Blue LED. It will flash Ex. 12 times and pause for 2 seconds and then flash 12 times again. The number of times it flashes will tell me more as to what the solution is. I am assuming the set works otherwise ?? What is the model number of the set ?

TV keeps shutting off automatically

Since your plasma is less then a year old, I would suggest to contact the manufacturers to get it fix under warranty. If the plasma keeps shutting off by itself, that is not normal and should be repair.
