HP deskjet F380 - 'status: paper jam'. There is no paper jam!

It had a paper jam. I removed the paper (paper was intact-no tears). It prints the test page, when I press the feed button the paper passes through black. However it wont print anything else. It says 'status: paper jam'. There is no paper jam.

Unplug the power cord and while doing that make sure printer is powered on i mean do not turn off the printer using the power button. When you unplug the power cord than press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Than release the power button and connect the power cord and then try to print.

My HP 3920 is showing error of "The following print cartridge is not intended for use in this printer Tri-color" and Status is : paper jam. Any body can help me how can i fix it?Thanks

If you know you have the right cartridge, and it is inserted correctly, you might try opening and closing the paper jam door in the back of the printer. Sometimes the printer gets "confused" as to what the real problem.Or, at least my HP printer does.

Paper jamming problems with HP DeskJet F380 All-In-One Printer . The paper feeds into the paper feeder but then it seems to get off line and the paper get stuck and actually tears in the feeder. The...

Hi,
Remove the jammed paper. Unplug the printer from the mains and PC. Inspect the rollers, etc for tiny paper piece(s) that may be stuck, or other debris. Try to clean rollers and make sure they are dry.
Keep printer unplugged for about 2 minutes and replug and try a test print.
Also make sure that you have waited long enough for the printer to heat up before giving a print job.
Finally, it could be an issue with the paper sensor. If this is the case, you will probably have to take the printer in for servicing..

Hope that helps!

Thanks

Hp deskjet f380 paper jam

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this, is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

Paper jam

At the back of the printer... open the feeder door and slowly remove the jammed papers.... put it back and put some paper in the tray and press resume button... this will continue printing the remaining print jobs.

good luck... happy FIXYA...
