Not sure if this is helpful at all, but according to this youtube video, this unit never had a remote. It uses a 9-pin game controller. Not sure if this is only for playing games, or if it's used for programming the unit as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crqMoog_Eiw&feature=youtu.be&t=44s
Looking at a closeup of the control buttons at the 36 second mark of the video, there does not appear to be any button that can be used as an "ok" button.
The back of the unit has a number of audio/video outputs, and 2 game ports.
The type of disk you put in the unit should determine whether it is recognized as a DVD or as a game disk.
As the author of the youtube video mentions, these were very inexpensive units (he got his for $30).
You may want to consider getting a major brand DVD player that includes a remote like the Sony DVP-SR210P which can be found on eBay for under $30, as well.
Hi all.
1. You must find the model number of your RCA universal remote.
2. You must search RCA.com for it or else google.com for "[model number of RCA remote] + operating manual"
Ignore all those who listed codes.. they have no idea what universal remote you have. All universal remotes have different code databases.
BTW... You most likely will not get any universal remote to work well with your TV. When you get done fiddling with universal, know that you can always purchase the OEM remote from link below (guaranteed to work without programming): SYLVANIA NH001UD Emerson LCD TV Remote Control
The LCDtv /DVD codes are different from jus the Tv codes. if you do not have a section for dual, you need to buy a remote that supports both, Dollar General has them for 5 dollars.
Prizmo TV no universal remote codes work. I called RC Willey (where I purchased the Prizmo TV) to get a replacement remote for my Prizmo 19" TV. Customer service finally gave me a number for Red Rock Sourcing 1-702-252-5049. Red Rock took my Prizmo TV model number and they apologized for any inconvience. I told them no universal remote codes work for the Prizmo TV. Red Rock Sourcing is sending me a free replacement Prizmo remote by Fed-Ex. I hope this helps you.
