I have bought 2 emerson microwaves MW9113ss and both just stopped

I have bought 2 emerson microwaves MW9113ss in the last 2 years. Both of them just stopped working. One of them would turn on but not heat. the other one wont even come on at all. I got one from Kohls in December 2008 and the other one I got from Walmart in December 2007. Is there a warranty? Can I take these back to the stores. I would think a microwave should last more then one year.

U can take one to the stores which u bought december 2008. Unfortunately there is only 1 year warranty. generally these microwaves should last more than a year... hope u will get warranty and receive a new piece ..

We spoke yesterday. You have 10 Power Levels Nora from 10% power and in 10% increments all the way up to 100% Power. You didn't read the manual did you? :>D I just did and here it it is on the page you need to read.

How do I use the grill function on my new microwave?
I've had an Emerson microwave/grill for about 5 years now and love it!! To use the grill function you just hit "grill/combo" then hit the buttons up above the grill/combo button for however many minutes or seconds you want, then hit "Start" button. make sure your using a metal dish.

Yes most microwaves comes with internal fuse for protection. If you are handy enough you can take the top cover off, identify and find replacement.

If the is no power to the microware and the display does not showing any signs of power then you internal fuse has been damaged. First I would suggest you move the mocroware to a different outlet to eliminate the outlet as the problem. Once you have eliminate the outlet, then disconnect the power and then remove the covers and find and replace the fuse. Let me know the results

I'd say contact Emerson about that--usually, customer service is toll free, and they can tell you:
  • if the bulb IS consumer-repairable
  • what type of bulb you would need if it is
  • where to go to purchase it

How to stop the beeper and reset the "code' light on panel?
You have a shorted 2 pad on the keypad.

Since it's less than one year old, it should be fully covered under warranty. I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer to get it fixed free.
