I have to presume you did GOOGLE the model number with the word manual and have contacted AKAI who should actually be SAMSUNG as they own the right to that brand name.
I want to get new circuit board for my old akai tv model ct 2979 a 29 inch screen tv whose EST has gone as per mechanic.Kindly tell me where to get & what is the cost? reply to [email protected] or call 09676217007
No you don't really. The good channel will tell you everything about the bad channel as it should be the same. For instance you can measure voltages and compare them and if you prod the good channel and get a loud buzz at various stages. Then you should also get the same results with the bad one. Work backwords from the speaker terminals. Buzz on good Buzz on bad section is working. Buzz on good nothing on bad. Faulty stage. It's not likely to be the power supply as that would affect the other channel.
