I have a 115000 heater and when I turn on the switch the unit just hums and then it sounds like it blows an internal breaker and the humming stops

sounds like the motor start capacitor is bad causing the unit to stall and pop the internal circuit breaker...you will need to remove the cover and look for the silver can looking component that connects to the motor...you will then need to get a motor start capacitor to repair the problem ..these usually cost about 6-15 dollars at most appliance parts stores...or you can try a place like www.grainger.com

Honda ridgeline hesitates when I accelerate from a stop. it has 115000 miles. Will changong the plugs fix the problem?

Check first the condition of the plugs if they are covered with black or white color. This may indicate timing adjustments or may need to have the plugs replaced. Oil on the plugs means you need to have the oil seal changed. Check the fast idle control valve if it needs cleaning but normally your issue will be accompanied by idling problems. You may have to have the injector checked if you find gas in the plugs.

Check engine light

115000 miles on a Benz is not a lot of mileage provided the car was serviced on time and properly. You might want to have someone run a scan for trouble codes to see why the light is on. It could just be a bad 02 (oxygen) sensor. Does the car run OK?
