I had lost my polaroid zip for about 4 months. I just found it last night. I charged it a little bit and am trying to print a picture but it will not connect.

On page 52 of the manual it says, press print to enter the print menu or when you want to print the last picture you took, press the print button twice.

Plug it in to a USB on your pc or laptop. Let it charge for 1 hour then try holding in the power button while it is still attached to the computer.

for some reason samsung tablets like the charge from a computer or laptop better than mains power.

Did you try to charge the battery. For printing the battery, needs enough power. If the camera senses there is not enough power to print one complete picture, it will shut down. Sometimes you could shoot 10 or 20 pictures, but you can't print one picture, for the lack of power.

Defective LED back lights strips, or damaged EEPROM on main board. I will try a main board first, if you do nor have a TV LED strip tester.

The charge adapter maybe faulty.
If your cell phone is a few months old, then it would be still under warranty. Take it back to the place where you purchased it and have it repaired or replaced under warranty.

t-con board is failing

This commonly happens when the power inverter board goes out. It powers the LCD or PLASMA screen.
It's a common problem for all brands of TVs. Mine was brand new and it lasted for 4 months until I had the power inverter board replaced.That was back in Nov of '08. And it's still working today.

If you have the warranty, use it. The board itself cost between $75-$250, depending on the size of the screen.

Get some new rechargeable batteries, charge them over night, then put them in the camera. Take many pictures of family!

Hello dapnoh1969,   I also have old negatives, prints and Polaroids. I invested some money into an Epson Perfection scanner and am now copying all my neagtives, slides, Polaroids, prints to my computer. I also had to buy a larger external harddrive to save all my pictures, but the results are great. If you don't feel like investing into a scanner and other peripherals, may I suggest your local photo lab. They could probably drum scan your Polaroids into 100 MB Tiff's and blow them up to poster size. The last idea is a bit more expensive. Hope this helps.
