Question about Frigidaire Ovens

Frigidaire RSE37BAL*0 electric stove..cookies burn on outside/bottom, raw inside...put oven to 500'and element is all lit so whats wrong?

500 is way to hot for cookies . try 350 .

Testimonial: "lol....i did bake at 350, so then AFTER i was done baking, i turned it up to 500 to see if my element was working correctly and it was all lit, no "out" parts in the coil.."

    then try lower like 325 and get an oven thermometer so you can see if the settings are right

Oven burns in back and raw in front


That oven is very poorly rated and is prone to a lot of repairs. Most people advise to get something else. There is no common solution. I am sorry.

1984 stove, fuses located on the top of stove/ 30amp keeps blowin


It sounds like the element has a short in it. unplug the range, and take the element out and inspect if for burn marks. check the wires going to the element to make sure they have not shorted.

It sounds like you burned out the oven heating element control board.

My electric stove element does not come on


either the stove element control for that particular burner is bad or that element ring is bad or a wire is off or burned on this circuit

The Bottom oven element has burned out. Is is


It's replaceable,if it's an exposed element meaning you can look in the oven and see the element you can do it yourself unplug the range take out the two screws securing it pull it slowly toward you,unplug the two connectors and put in the new one,if it's a hidden bake meaning you can't see the element you would be better off having it done.

Gas oven that cooks unevenly


clean your orifaces.

Also make sure that it's the correct stove for your gas type. If you're using a NG stove on Propane, you're wrong. It's making a lot of soot, and could potentially blow up your house. Stop using it until you're sure.

WHY WON'T MY OVEN HEAT UP?


Most modern gas ovens and many broilers use a "glow-bar" style of igniter that glows red-hot to ignite the gas. If the igniter doesn't reach the proper temperature, the gas valve won't open. You may need to replace the igniter.
