Web cam I have this web cam i recently got but it will not work on my computer. The camera came with a disk, but every time i put in the disk the following message appears:- error installing device:please do the following:-close any current programempty temperary foldercheck internet connect Then retry again

If the web camera came with an installation disk, use the disk to install drivers then plug the web camera in a USB port. The computer should recognize it. If it is properly recognized it will work with all applications that support a webcam (Skype, MSN, Google chat..) If it is not recognized and you do not have an installation software, you should go to the manufacturers web site to download appropriate drivers.

Buy web cam. boot computer with hardware attached to USB port. put in disk and click setup if disk does not boot automatically. Follow the prompts. At finish close program and reboot computer. after login click on web cam utility in programs and follow prompts.

time just select webcam driver and install it as per your operating
system(Vista or XP). So do it, and after finish installation ,restart the
laptop. Your will see your cam is ready for use.

Start by installing the web cam, plug into USB socket. Now install the drivers that can be found on the disk that came with the web cam. Follow the instructions on the disk and it will tell you at the end to restart your computer. All done your camera should be working. However if not tell me a little more about your problem and together we can get it working.

1 Fing a camera symbol in your keypad. Thsats must be in blue color. if you found then press FN+That key.
2. go in my computer & Click the usb video camera option.
If your cam not install then follow the steps.

I saw on another web site that it might have to do with format, I'm not sure but might be something to look into

did you try putting in the software disk and then plugging it in the computer, then from the camera go to web cam and it should install it and work fine.
