Are you sure the fuses located on a PCB below the opened drawer are all OK? Otherwise you likely have a mechanical issues and I suggest you contact an Authorized Adcom Service Center. For further information visit www.adcom.com and contact Adcom. Affiliated Electronics in Hillsborough, NJ, may be your best bet as they have salvage Adcom parts.

The F61 is the Panasonic version of protect. Basically the unit has detected a problem in the output section and has shutdown. This is usually either the output amp pac ($85 or so for the part) or the regulator circuit. Without seeing the unit and taking some measurements, I can't tell you which.
You are best to see the assistance of an authorized Panasonic service center.

to take it out, you need two special toolsto insert in the four small holes on the sides. Since you probably don't have them, you can use four allen wrenches of the appropiate size. Just insert them and they will unlock the unit. (you might need something else to help you pull the unit very gently from one of the slots).
To reset the unit, I am not sure what do you meen by that. Just remember the unit has to be set up to work in the car's setup with the dealers interface module.

This is a problem with the laser assembly which requires service. The laser assembly needs to be replaced as a whole. It is not easy to replace them, but someone with patience, and a knack for mechanical things can do it.
