15 pin to usb, maybe but your not going to get any support from windows or logitech. to see if it deos work plug into pc and check the device manager under sounds video and game controller should show up as logitech device. here is the driver to help with recognition. no test function, wil have to use the game to prgram buttons if available.

When I plug in my Wingman (win 7-64) and I get the B.S.o.D. and windows has to reboot. any ideas? Im sure my driver is compatible for the system

I have Win7-64, and able to run Wingman. If you have the CD, it is okay, you can install both the joystick and USB drive, but the better option is that you go to the Logitech site, and download the latest drivers for the Wingman. Wingman is the older version of 3D, but the drivers of Logitech extreme, 3D are workable with the old Joystick Wingman., and they should work well on the Window 7 , 64 version

No usually you do not need a driver to make it work. The default usb drivers will work.

Logitech does have a exe program for this model joystick also.Which has some nice features.

Wingman extreme digital 3d not working.

you dont get any responds or recognition from windows other then in the deivce manager. it is working on the older joystick system so only the game has the capability of recognizing and making the button assignment if it supports joystick drivers.

in case your using driver that are too new here are the drivers for 15 pin logitech devices.

I'm trying to use the cable from my Saitek P750 on my Logitech wingman extreme because the P750 has a USB and a 15 pin the wingman only has a 15 pin. My notebook doesnt have the 15 pin but has 3 USB ports....

Buy a USB to gameport adapter from Radioshack ($1.85!!!! cos it's sooo old) set the switch on the adapter to joystick B (with "hat" switch) and then you can hook it up.....drivers are another issue...I'm still searching..:-)

Wingman extreme digital 3D Logitech not working on XP

Well you can try download lgs501.exe and run it. This scans on Logitech drivers on your system and can even update them.
( Not checked though, cause I am running on Vista )
