SOURCE: acer al1916b high pitched noise when on standby.

Sounds like you could have an open ground? Also might check the wiring to see if you have a faulty connection in VGA cable or power supply cable

loose fan belt?

Put the car in neutral, set the parking brake, open the hood, get someone to listen/see where the sound is coming from, as you press on the accelerator.

One of the belt should be loose or worn. Make sure they are not worn or cracking before tightening.

It might tell you on the back of the tweeter what rating they are. I should do a webserch for Samson spares and see what it comes up with.

I need a transformer for my resolv 65a monitor

Are you an experienced tech? In most cases (unless there is a defect in manufacturing) transformers are not a common cause for failure. If it blows the fuse disconnect the secondaries and see if it still blows the fuse. If it does then the transformer is likely the cause, if the fuse doesn't blow then the problem is elsewhere. If you have 120vac at the primary and nothing(or very low) at the secondary(s) then the transformer could also be at fault. If you have done this already and narrowed it down to the transformer, sorry I cannot help. I used service Samson but no longer am able to get parts. Good luck!

Samson Resolv 40A,no sound, power light on cables good.

Your best bet is to take them to an authorized repair center. You may also want to talk to Samson directly. Here is their support link-

okay ill answer this as best to my knowledge.There inside is a wire going to the woofer or the low frequency speaker.then you have the tweeter which is for the really high frequency.Inside there is either a capacitor or a crossover a capacitor is a small can looking piece and the croossover is a coil or wires.But what this does is stops the tweeter from receiving the low frequenies that should be directed to the woofer as it also stops the woofer from getting the high frequencies.You need to open it up and see if any wires are loose or disconnected or if anything dont look right if there is a capacitor look on the top and see if its buldging if it is it is about to pop which that could be your problem or it may have already.Do this when you open it up will you tke a video and show me the inside of your speaker.

No sound from samson resolve a6 speaker

Is the input cable okay on othe systems? Is the voltage switch setting correct for yourpart of the world? Is the GND/LIFT switch fully set to one side or the other?

If you are plugged into the 1/4 ich jack- is you plug the correct length? There are 5 different lengths on thses.

It also would not hurt to spray some LPS-1 into the controls and switches and cycle them to clean contacts as well. And into the 1/4 inch jack directing the spray towards the interrupt contacts.

same issue here, my 6 inch woofer is good but the tweeter is not producing sound, i opened the box myself, theres not signal going to my tweeter, how can i check to see if its a wiring or other issues to diagnose myself? heres some pics

65a Resolv studio monitors. The left one just blew out -- maybe. The blue LED stays dim, as though the monitor has been sleeping. When I power off the monitor, the speaker gives a loud pop, and the cone...

You are getting DC offset voltage on one of your amplifiers that is the reason the speaker pushes out and you might be hearing a humming noise too. Do not turn on the speakers till you get it fixed or else you would end up burning the speaker voice coil too.The dim blue LED is also an indication of a short circuit in the output stage.
Your left amplifier needs a output chip (IC ) replacement. You will need professional help to do that. Will cost you about 20$ plus service charges.

Tweeter is cutting in and out

need to open up speaker and check connections on tweeter. Check closely on tiny wires from magnet(voice coil) to paper cone

Tweeters will not put out sounds, they do not look blown.

You need to go inside and isolate the tweeters. Then with a 1.5volt battery apply the + to + etc for a second. If it pops it's working and the problem is in the crossover. If not it's dead!
