Spilled liquid on Keyboard!

1. Purchase plastic keyboard cover. 2. Keep coffee etc. anywhere not near keyboard.

For spill, unplug keyboard. If non sugar liquid, invert keyboard, shake or tap gently. Wipe with lent free absorbent cloth while still inverted. If soda or coffee with sugar, pour 1/4 cup of clear clean (distilled the best) water onto keyboard (yes), Then invert. Let dry a minimum of several hours still inverted. I cheat with a hairdryer on low 6-12 inches. After keyboard is completely dry (and cool). Plug in after turning computer off, restart, test all keys, including shift, option etc. If keys miss or don't work buy new keyboard and cover! Aloha, Cliff

Carpet Stains

I have a blue rug in my living room. The other day bright green nail polish was spilled on it by our daughter.. My husband was ready to freak. I soaked the spot with nail polish remover and rubbed it with a damp rag. I then sprayed it with Woolite spot spray, rubbed in a circular motion and let dry. The rug is fine and there's no more stain.

What is matte nail polish?

Matte nail polishes do not shine like creme ones. They are very trendy these days although can be harder to apply to the nails as they don't glide when you paint them onto the nails.

I accidentally spilled nail polish remover on my macbook. it works fine now but i've noticed the fan runs more frequently now. is this normal?

it's possible you got some inside your mac. When it heats up, can you smell the remover? It might be that it dried inside and is being reheated every time you use the mac.

here's an easy way to fix your problem. Take nail polish remover, this is not a joke- pour some on a rag and scrub the old yellowish burned film away you will love the difference it makes, they will look like new. You can also get the conversion kit,but nail polish remover is like 2.00 bucks god bless

Maytag gemini schott ceran stove top

Sugar spills on a hot surface will 'pit' the glass surface. There is no way to repair. The damage caused to the surface is only cosmetic and will not affect the performance or operation.
