Coleman rv roof mount a/c compressor runs all the time. Thermostat will not turn compressor off. Cools fine.

Compressor will not cut off

Turn power off, remover electrical cover and disconnect the wires that go to thermostat, sounds like bad thermostat control

Compressor trie to start, but don't.

Capacitor is good place to start, once you confirm you have proper voltage getting to the unit.

Fan cutting on and off every 5 mins

The only thing that is going to but the fan off is the thermostat. When the fan stops, immediately check the thermostat on the wall. See is there is power between the B terminal and the GH terminal. If none, then replace the thermostat. If there is, then replace the control board in the AC. That means that the fan relay on the printed circuit board is weak.

Dometic a/c, duotherm thermostat, turns right back on after it reaches desired temperture.

I have a dometic 13500 BTU Roof mount a/c. It is set up with the duo-therm analog thermostat. The system cools fine. The problem is that the a/c gets down to the right temp, then it turns off like it should but turns right back on within a few seconds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

(1)Check compressor contactor or relay if it stock in the close position
(2)Check for welded contact points
(3)Check switch control for defect
(4) Check if compressor contactor still geting power when it is off
