I just went through this last night. Place it back on the wall. If it was working prior to your removing it and following Youtube instructions this should work, 1 shut off the furnace via the breaker panel or switch, replace the batteries if yours has that option, replace it back onto the wall plate, turn your furnace back on via the breaker panel or switch depending on your furnace style. This should reset your thermostat and it will also reconnect the wireless.

Follow these steps exactly:
1. Cut power to your EIM and also take the batteries out of the thermostat.
2. Turn power on to the EIM only and do not put the batteries back into the thermostat.
3. Press the connect button on the EIM until it flashes green, entering into pairing mode.
4. Put the batteries back into the thermostat and go to the appropriate wireless setting. On most units is simply going to be 36 on the left side and 52 on the right.
5. Press connect and you should be all set.

Power off everything and straighten WiFi and Bluetooth out first.

If he did the same thing I did, then its during the wifi reboot not a hard reboot. I can get to the function section but it only brings up 70 and 80 which I can change but it only goes to 76 and 83 which I have no idea what functions these are. Still stuck in wireless set up and cant exit out

Have a honeywell RTH230b and this morning the display on the thermostat is flashing a house with a 4 inside the outline of the house and the heat is at 63 We had it set at 70. This is a 205 model

The Honeywell RTH230B indicates that the system is running the overnight (sleep) program with the 4 inside the house symbol. When the house flashes, the desired temperature has been changed from that programmed temperature (bypass mode). The bypass mode should only run for 2 hours.

The default programming starts the sleep period at 10 P.M. and ends at 6 A.M. On the original program in the thermostat, the temperature target was set to 62 during the heating season and 82 for the air conditioning season.

Since the thermostat was set to bypass, you should check who in your house pressed the Up/Down buttons on the thermostat to change the house temperature. Beyond that, check the start and end times and the programmed temperatures for each scheduled period. Honeywell has the manual for the RTH230B here: https://customer.honeywell.com/resources/techlit/TechLitDocuments/69-0000s/69-1800.pdf .

I hope this helps

(On my own programmable thermostat, we recently found that one period in the week had been left at the default setting. Thus the thermostat was programmed to maintain 60 degrees when we wanted 65 during the day.)

I have an opener stuck in vacation mode... the wall unit is one button, the remote is 3, but we bought this house and there are no markings on the buttons. How do I get it out of vacation mode?

Enter the existing Code and press * key. The light should flash twice. If the light does not flash twice you have the wrong code. Now enter the new code you want to use and press Enter. You should now be set to use the smart learn button on the back of your receiver.

Honeywell VisionPro USER SETUP CODES OR INSTALLER CODE FOR TEMP RESTRICTION

You need to get into the installer setup. Download the installer manual from Honeywell or an on-line vendor and it has the installer codes to alter the maximum heat setting. Press the system button and then buttons 2 & 4 at the same time for 5 sec to enter the installer mode. I believe the code is 0600 and then you enter the max temp for heat setting. Press done and your done!. Try this link for the installers manual http://www.alpinehomeair.com/related/Honeywell_VisionPro_8000_%20Install_%20Instructions.pdf
