Need to get the spec sheet on the BN44-00497A power supply for the UN46EH5000F TV

From the spec sheet...

"Multiple rectifiers can be paralleled."

"Supports voltage adjustment,current adjustment,and current sharing"

Running units at near 100% rating will likely reduce life expectancy. Likey better to budget for 3 units instead of 2.

Best thing to do dollar wise is to replace the set.

I will test the back lights first.

To test the back lights, you need to disconnect the cable between the main power supply & the main board, apply the AC power to the power supply, if the back lights are not light up, the back light are defective.

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board...

Interesting because the voltage you are reading is for ccfl tubes backlighting but the tv says its led. If you look up the parts though they say the screen is amx and it is lcd. Look at the edge and see if the screen has tubes or chains of leds on strips. LED doesn't fire at 500 it is 130-150 vdc

you will need the power specs of each unit, look on the tv and computer near where they plug in, should be tagged right there or somewhere close. by law it has to be tagged. if not right there keep looking . and yes it is specific.

HELLO AND NO YOUR AMP SUPPLY IS'NT THE RIGHT AMOUNT YOUR CORD ONLY SUPPLIES 2.5 AND YOUR T.V. CALLS FOR 5.2 IT'LL RUN YOUR T.V. BUT THE REASON IT WONT WORK IS BECAUSE YOUR T.V. WILL PULL 5.2 AMPS AND YOUR CORD IS ONLY RATED FOR 2.5 IN TIME THE CORD WILL BURN OUT OR GET HOT AND CAUSE A POSSABLE FIRE.

Solder yoke plug and vertical IC connections.....try again.

BTW....Tosh recommends STK-392-110's replace with -110T's
Toshiba OEM.....then there is no question about resistor value
change......
