My airconditioner does not work. when i turn it on the fan inside blows but nom air. I noticed the fan in the condensor itself outside is not turning. I think i hear the electrical trying to connect with it but no go. what do you think??
Check your circuit breaker.
First, I checked the circuit breakers, but they were not the problem. Fan was off on outside unit.
Today the Capacitor was replaced on my unit and now everything is fine. Fan is running outside on the unit and the house is cooling down. A fairly inexpensive fix and easy one too by the repair man. Don't get a new unit until the simple things are checked and or replaced. I thought my unit was dead because it is 13 years old, but I was wrong. Happy, happy, happy!
