There is a site --www.eastwaysales.com>products
that have spares for your heater including propane use spares
try contacting them and seeing if jets are available for propane gas
you could alsays contact a local gas fitter that does conversion from one gas to the other as all it entails is a new jet size ( larger for natural gas) and a repositioning of the air shroud to get the gas air mixture right to get the blue flame
gas fitter should have a chart for jet sizes required for certain gas flows for btu unis

I'm sure you can, contact the manufacturer and ask if they have a natural gas jet or orfice for your model heater, these are usually very easy to replace.

SOURCE: 150,000 BTU propane Reddy Heater shuts off after ignition

Is there a frost line on your LP tank, if so you may need to replace the tank with a larger tank or refill your tank. This can happen if the tank your using is too low or too small (use 100 lb tank or greater). If there is no frost line it may be an issue with the thermocouple. The manufacturer offers a service manual and owner's manuals on there site. This should assist you... www.desatech.com Thank you

Hi,
Yes, you should be able to convert that....
Contact the company directly, the distributor, of the literature that came with the unit for orifice sizing.....AND conversion kit for the regulator....

The danger of running a heater on the wrong gas is that it will produce CO (carbonmonoxide) and you will wake up dead....

You will need to change the orifice - natural gas has less BTU than propane, so you need a larger sized orifice.

I have a older 40,000 BTU 3 burner natural gas deep fryer. I would like to convert to propane gas. The orifice number is size 32. Do I need to get different orifices to convert? The serial number is...

Hi there.

Burner orifice size for propane gas is number 55. You have to replace all burner orifice with this size if you want to use the fryer with propane gas. Pilot burner orifice should be replaced with propane pilot orifice. The gas valve spring should also be replaced with propane spring kit. The difference between the two spring is the natural gas spring is lighter or thinner compare with the propane gas valve spring.

I need a universal propane orifice for a Vanguard heater to convert it to propane Any help

Sorry friend. Despite what you may have been told or think, it takes more than orifice change to convert a vent-free gas heater from one gas type to another. In any event, you "might" get it to work, but it would override the built-in safety features that are designed to shut it down within one minute, if something goes wrong. If you still have your Owners Manual, you will see that it can not be safely converted.

I highly recommend that you don't even attempt it. Is trying to saving a few $$ worth risking your or your family's life?
