That's a common problem when upgrading Blackberry, the easiest option is to uninstall Whatsapp, download and reinstall it following this procedure (depending on your model): Whatsapp for BLACKBERRY 9220 9300 9320 9900
Your blackberry model is a BBOS Legacy Devices and Apps such as WhatsApp which use up a lot of memory can create problems.
If you have BlackBerry OS 7.1 or older Devices, then clear the Cache in the Browser and in any other App (like the event Log), then
go into Setup, select Languages and Remove/Delete all other languages except the one you're using (i.e. English) and finally Re-Boot to get around 40/%0+MB of free Application Memory back. Now whatsapp should work. For more advices on using whatsapp on blackberry see this page or visit the official official whatsApp.com website.

There are 2 places that you can get whatsapp from on the blackberries. Either you search for it in the App world and download it from there. Or you can go to www.whatsapp.com/ota on your phone to get it. If it doesn't work from either method, post a comment with details as to why it will not load (if there are any error messages, or what it is doing when it stops downloading) and I will get back to you with an answer. Good luck!
