This normally means it needs a good clean and that the Neoprene piston o-rings need to be changed. With age, heat and use, they loose their slippiness.

Sounds like a problem with the pods. Check they are manufacture recommended. When on espresso the pressure will be higher so a
"weak" pod could cause this. Unless the machine is producing too high a pressure. Check also there are no projections that could rip the pod when you close the holder.

Saeco Odea Plus Flashing rapidly: "Ventilate the water system" almost at every turning on? My Saeco Odea Plus almost at every turning on the ventilation error. After the ventilation procedure, it works normally until the next turned on. But ventilation, without entering the test mode, does not always work, this does not turn on the pump when i open steam valve. But in test mode it works okay'. I thought the problem in the flow meter, but in test mode, when the pump is turned on, the impulses come from it. After the ventilation procedure, the coffee machine works perfectly. I can't understand what the problem could be when turning on. Addition: the problem arises when the process of washing the brewing unit is ongoing when the coffee machine is turned on. 1. Power on. 2. Checking the position of the brewing unit (short pulse up and down) 3. Heating 4. Closing the brewing unit. 5. The pump and washing should be turned on, but the pump does not turn on -> Accordingly, there are no pulses from the flow meter -> Flashing rapidly: Ventilate the water system. 6. Open the brewing unit. At the same time, the pump itself is working.

Water spontaneously pumping out drain EM6910 I just changed the group head seal on my sunbeam EM6910. I turned in on it's back to reach the screw, but as soon as I turned it upright it started pumping water out the drain into the drip tray even though the machine was turned off. Melitta Caffeo solo brewing unit wont initialize into the correct position. Melitta Caffeo solo. The brewing unit doesnt initialize to the correct position, i hold the two buttons to do it and i hear the motor struggling to move a certain way and then it goes back but doesn't go into the correct spot in which the brewing unit fits in? I tried taking it all apart and starting it into the correct position but always ends up putting back into the wrong position. SOLVED: The PCB to appears to be at fault with this problem, tried another and worked fine.
