I THINK YOUR BELT IS OUT OF ALIGNMENT. THIS IS A DIFFICULT MACHINE TO WORK ON SO UNLESS YOU WANT TROUBLE YOU BETTER GET A REPAIRMAN.

I have a Pfaff Creative 7530 and the connection socket for the foot control is loose or shorts out. My son said if I got the part he could fix it but I cannot find anywhere that even knows what I am...

Yes they brake from time to time and you are right you can not get them. Will need to take it to a pfaff teck and have him fix it. May be $300-500 for parts and labor.

PFAFF QUILT AND CRAFT PRO 7530 LIGHT BULB REPLACEMENT

Found "Discount Sewing Mahcine Sevice", 9112 Greenridge Lane, Bloomington, IN 47401, part number "Light Bulb #676". They were $1.95 each, add shipping. Bulb is a little different, but fits fine and seems to have good life.
