Can I use my Triciry Bendix dishwasher DH101 if I remove the top. It needs more clearance below the worktop. When I remove the top there is a material, not a solid top.

Plates and cups get chipped. Is this caused by vibration because machine is too close to worktop?

Listen to hear if dishes are rattling against each other. Cups should be loaded only in the top and care to keep each cup separated from other. Chipping usually will occur when dishes are close together and in contact. The racks are rubberized and would be very unlikely the source.

If the feet are adjusted so the machine will not rock it would be unlikely that the top on or off would have any effect.

The upper shelf is adjustable up or down. Suggest locating upper shelf to the up position.

I can't see how to remove the worktop of my Bosch dishwasher. I found two screws that look as if they stop it sliding forward but I still can't move it after removing them. It looks for all the...

Hi john_mchugo,

The dishwasher Worktop can be removed by first removing the 2 screws at the back of the machine. The screws are either fastened horizontally, or vertically. Once these screws are removed, the worktop slides backwards, and can be lifted up and off.

On some models there are catch tappets located on the rear right and left hand sides of the Top panel. To remove the Top panel, press up the catch tappets, push the worktop back and lift it off. If these tappets aren't pressed up, the Top won't release at all.

I hope this has helped you.

Kind Regards

I have a tricity bendix dh101 stopped working cold water not going in to manchaine many thanks if u can help

Possible that the INLET valve is faulty /clogged or there is no voltage to switch ON the inlet valve.
So measure the voltage at the inlet valve, also check if the inlet filter is clogged.
Check the water pressure at the inlet to confirm, remove the line from the inlet valve and confirm the flow when activated.

I have a Tricity DH101 replacement element, but can't see how I remove the old and replace it with the new one, do I have to do this from beneath the unit?

No. You need to remove the perforated floor of the machine to access the heater element, and you need to remove the rear cover to disconnect the wires. Once you have access to these points the job is actually very easy. Make sure that the power cord is removed from the wall socket before attempting any work on the machine.

Check the fitting where the dishwasher hose connects to the drain. If it drains when disconnected, it is either kinking the hose when you put it back in, or the drain is plugged at the connection.

I have a neff S5049X, pump keeps runing on even with door open, trying to remove it from underneath worktop to tilt back. How do I lower the legs to allow clearance between floor and worktop. What is the...

Hello,

Sounds like the anti-flood device has kicked in this would suggest that there is either a leak under the machine or if you may have used too much rinse aid and it has frothed up and leaked under the door.
The screw in the middle is to lower the middle rear leg turn it towards the down or minus sign normally anti-clockwise.

Hope this helped.

Steam eating my cabinet top up

You can buy a metal strip with a small angled edge to fit under the worktop above the dishwasher. I have one of these and it has protected the worktop for 10 years,

Tricity bendix dh101 wont empty trying to but only a trickle was working ok no kinks in extract pipe

Check the drain hose and the drain lines, if you find no obstructions, then you have a defective drain pump.

If you find no problem with the drain lines, you may need to replace the pump.
